Our Services
Physical and Occupational Therapy Evaluations
$250-400 (Based on area or areas of concern)
At Sunshine Therapy Company, our outpatient evaluations are the first step in understanding your child’s unique strengths and needs. Our licensed occupational and physical therapists work closely with families to assess how your child moves, plays, and participates in daily activities.
During the evaluation, we use play-based and developmentally appropriate tools to assess areas such as:
Gross motor skills (balance, coordination, strength)
Fine motor skills (hand function, grasp, writing readiness)
Sensory processing
Motor planning and body awareness
Functional independence in daily routines
We take the time to get to know your child in a comfortable, child-centered environment—turning assessment into a positive and engaging experience. After the evaluation, we’ll provide a personalized plan and talk through therapy recommendations that support your child’s development and goals.
Our health services prioritize patient-centered care by ensuring individualized treatment plans crafted by experienced professionals. With a commitment to excellence, we employ the latest medical techniques to support your journey towards optimal well-being.

Our consultation services are designed to support children, families, and caregivers by providing expert guidance from licensed occupational and physical therapists. Whether your child is already receiving therapy or you’re just beginning to explore support options, consultations can help answer questions, provide direction, and promote progress in everyday routines.
What We Offer During a Consultation:
Developmental Screenings – A brief look at your child’s motor, sensory, or functional skills to help determine if a full evaluation is needed.
Home and School Recommendations – Strategies and tools you can use at home or in school to support your child’s needs and build independence.
Collaborative Support – We work with parents, teachers, daycare providers, and other professionals to create consistency and maximize success across environments.
Resource Navigation – Help connecting with additional services, community programs, or adaptive equipment if needed.
Parent/Caregiver Coaching – Guidance and hands-on tips to help you understand and support your child’s sensory processing, motor coordination, or daily routines like dressing, feeding, or toileting.
When to Consider a Consultation:
You’re unsure whether your child needs therapy services.
You’ve noticed delays or difficulties in movement, behavior, or daily tasks.
You want expert input without committing to ongoing therapy (yet).
Your child already receives services, and you’d like a second opinion or additional ideas.
