Leighann Breuer, PT, DPT
Leighann Breuer is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who earned her DPT from Daemen College in 2015. With a deep commitment to pediatric care, Leighann has built her career around advocating for children with complex medical needs, including those with rare genetic disorders and developmental movement disorders. Her clinical expertise is matched by her dedication to helping every child reach their fullest potential—both physically and emotionally.
As a co-founder of Sunshine Therapy in Penn Yan, NY, Leighann envisioned a practice that prioritizes connection, compassion, and progress. She is known for her ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, helping to create a safe and supportive environment where therapy feels empowering, not overwhelming.
Leighann takes pride in celebrating every achievement—whether it’s a first step, a new skill, or a moment of confidence—and works closely with families to ensure each milestone is recognized and valued.
When she’s not in the clinic, Leighann enjoys coaching youth sports and spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their two children, Brynlee and Carson. Together, they love exploring the Finger Lakes, boating, gardening, and movie nights as a family.
At the heart of our practice is a commitment to empower children and families by providing individualized, evidence-based therapy services that promote progress, movement confidence, fine motor integration, sensory integration and inclusion in all aspects of their lives.
Stephanie Brentnall, OTR/L
Stephanie a pediatric Occupational Therapist who’s passionate about helping kids build confidence, independence, and the skills they need to thrive. Steph earned her Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2021 and has had the opportunity to work with people across all ages—from young children to older adults.
During her schooling, she completed a clinical at the Anderson Center for Autism, supporting amazing kids in a specialized school setting. Most recently, she has spent a year working in school-based therapy, helping students succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Steph outdoors—camping, hiking, or just soaking up the sunshine. Stephanie also loves spending time with her niece, who keeps her laughing and reminds her daily why she does what she does.
